Think about wearing a simple tee shirt..if you pull on the fabric in any direction, the other fibers will follow. Imagine that tee shirt was drenched in super glue & try to pull the fabric again. Notice the fibers are immobile..stuck together..the opposite of "breathable." By releasing the fascia there is an increase in blood flow and range of movement and encourages more depth when treating the muscles.
What is Scar Tissue Release?
Scar tissue release involves specific techniques, including fascial stretching and friction, that helps to open up blood flow to the adhesive connective tissue to increase range of movement and mobility. It is slow work to get the most beneficial amount of circulation to the scar. It is common for people to hold a mental connection with the scar, and can occasionally bring an emotional release.
