The Healthiest Blueprint for Loving Life

Warning: Reading this article may make you uncomfortable, and so it should. Invite change, embrace it, learn from it, and create a body you can love living in. Ever wondered WHY your body responds, reacts and performs the way it does.

Sometimes it under performs in a way that is frustrating, crippling or devastating, at exactly the wrong moment in time. You can decrease or reverse this.

Managing yourself:

‘Burying ones head in the sand’ is classic avoidance behaviour for what you are unwilling to admit to, or change. Taking ownership and responsibility for your body is the opposite of avoidance. Both have consequences, and this impacts your life in powerful ways.

The Science of ‘Flawed’ strategies, for managing you and your body:

Who better to ask about health and longevity than someone who lived a long, healthy, prosperous, active life and made a huge contribution to society. Prof. Albert Einstein knew that a new perspective and approach is critical. Einstein’s definition of insanity is ‘doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different or better result’. The W.H.O (World Health Organization) states, in its extensive worldwide report on chronic disease, that 60 – 70% of all chronic illness and disease is either stress or lifestyle related. ‘The cost of in-action is clear and unacceptable’. Clearly, as a society, we are not looking after our health very well. Of course, I could go on and on about diet, exercise, stress reduction, etc., etc., etc., but you already know all of that from the thousands of articles written on this before. So, let’s look at the problem of ill health from a different consciousness / perspective.

I am a Chiropractor – so let’s talk about the alternative and effective strategies I can offer you in re-writing the Blueprint for Loving Your Life. As a Chiropractor, I know that when your spine and nervous system are functioning and performing with less ‘stress’ and tension, the body is more at ease as it is co-ordinating the function, physiology and sensation of every cell, tissue, organ, bone, tendon ligament and muscle in your body.

Allow me to elaborate by quoting my friend and colleague, Dr. Heidi Haavik, from her pivotal new book, ‘The Reality Check’. Dr. Haavik is world leading chiropractic neuroscience researcher, author and educator. She notes that ‘… pain, and conditions with other symptoms don’t necessarily happen all of a sudden for no reason’… ‘background processing’, occurring intelligently and naturally between the body and brain via your nervous system, which you are not consciously aware of…. is continuously impacting every cell, tissue, organ and system including bones, tendons, ligaments and muscles of the human body for a lifetime. This is how your body interprets all of life’.

Your body is a temple, not a garbage can

Our body is a temple and not a ‘garbage can’ to be ignored, abused and neglected. We were each only gifted with one, and I have the opportunity & privilege to educate and inspire people to get the most out of their body, to be their healthiest, rather than settling for just not sick or injured.

When the body – brain communication network (information ‘super’ highway – ie. nervous system) is operating optimally and experiencing less disturbance, distortion and interference, you and the body you live in have a better opportunity to cope and manage life stressors better that are impeding your ability to love and express life more abundantly.

In our fast paced chaotic and stressful lives we have become the effect and result of ‘flawed’, average or misguided social conditioning. We allow the media, cultural conditioning, and even peer pressure to determine what we put into, and how we treat our bodies.

Self – destined and self – determined

You can take charge of your body, and your future simply by choosing to. Consistent action over time equals results. If you prioritise and align yourself to your highest values in life, you will re – adjust and address your health differently.

I am a change agent for people being their healthiest in an upward spiral direction – thriving and loving life. I no longer accept a ‘fixed and stuck’ existence in a complacent ‘holding pattern’. Change your perception, attitude and language, and you will realize that you deserve better. I know it.
